Birth
Birth is sacred and personal. As a birth doula, I will provide resources on birth and newborn choices and then support what you decide is best for you. Birth doesn’t always take the path we planned, and I will walk alongside through all the twists and turns. From an unmedicated home birth to a scheduled cesarean section and everything in between, I will provide continuous support and encouragement during your entire labor.
Includes:
– 1 or 2 prenatal visits to get to know you and your partner and your vision for birth
– Evidence based information and guidance on birth preferences
– Phone and email support throughout pregnancy
– Referrals
– 24-hour on-call assistance starting at 38 weeks
– Continuous labor support (no matter how long you are in labor)
– 1 postpartum visit to check in and reflect on your birth
Investment: $1,200
Postpartum
Many people prepare for pregnancy and birth, but not everyone prepares for postpartum- and it can be overwhelming! As a postpartum doula, I provide up-to-date, evidence based care for you, your new baby, and your entire family during the fourth trimester. From providing a listening ear while you process (or bask in) your birth story to figuring out how to change a diaper or store pumped milk, I’m here to help.
Some of the areas I can help include:
– Breastfeeding help
– Light cleaning
– Diapering (cloth and disposable)
– Emotional support
– Meal prep
– Newborn education: swaddling, bathing, development
– Organizational systems
– Partner support
– Pumping
– Referrals
– Sibling transitions
It really does take a village, and I would love to be part of that village for you!
Investment: start at $650 for 20 hours
